Information we collect

In the app

CamCam does not collect or transmit personal data from within the app. We do not run analytics or in-app tracking.

Photos and videos

CamCam saves your captures to your Photos library on your device. CamCam does not upload your photos or videos to our servers.

Support communications

If you contact us by email, we will receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this information only to respond and provide support.

In short: the only personal data we ever see is what you put in a support email to us. The app itself doesn't send anything.

How we use information

  • To provide support if you contact us.
  • Otherwise, CamCam operates on-device.

Sharing

CamCam does not sell personal information. CamCam does not share data collected by the app with third parties.

Permissions and on-device processing

CamCam asks for the following iOS permissions:

  • Camera — to capture photos and videos.
  • Microphone — to record audio with videos.
  • Photos — to save and show your CamCam captures.

You can manage these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

About iCloud: if you use iCloud Photos, Apple may sync your Photos library across devices. This is controlled by your Apple settings and Apple services.

Data retention

  • Photos and videos are stored in your Photos library until you delete them.
  • Support emails are retained as long as needed to respond and for basic record-keeping.

Your choices

  • You can revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
  • You can delete your photos and videos from the Photos app.
  • You can contact us for help or questions.

Children's privacy

CamCam does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us via support email, contact us and we will work to delete it.
